Today, I am finally talking about the stunning wedding that I had the pleasure of capturing back in July at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum in Milwaukee. This breathtaking venue and is filled with so much beautiful Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture. Originally designed in 1923, the museum includes a collection of fine arts dating back to the 15th-18th centuries. This makes it the perfect venue for couples who want a timeless vibe to their day. It was a photographer’s dream with the stunning gardens, sculptures, well-lit spaces, and the perfect amount of elegance. To say the least, this venue was absolutely everything and this is my petition for more Milwaukee, WI Weddings.
Vanezza and Kaleb were a dream to work with. It was such and honor that they trusted me to capture their day. Their engagement session was in November of 2022, so it was just so great to see them again and witness their love in the most beautiful location. They thought of every little detail to put together for the day. Everything was so seamless and beautiful. I was immediately captivated by the way the light came in on their reception tables in the wedding venue. It made the detail shots that I took turn out so perfect.
We started out the day with the classic getting ready photos with the girls. I vividly remember being so in love with the colors that Vanezza chose for her bridesmaids. Their outfits were so coordinated and perfect; the colors truly fit the vibe of the wedding so perfectly. We jumped into some first looks and then took some family photos. Then it was time to get them MARRIED.
As the ceremony began, I was in awe of the scenery, the decorations, and the love that filled the entire venue for them. The arch that framed them during their ceremony was so beautiful; the florals were so breathtaking and framed them perfectly as they said “I Do”. It just created the most stunning environment for their wedding. Elijah went above the ceremony to take an amazing elevated shot that turned out stunningly. It was everything. Their ceremony was so sweet and perfect; I have the fondest memories of the entire day.
After the ceremony, I took them down to the gardens to take some photos there, which was honestly one of my favorite locations within the venue. Everything was just so purposeful and thoughtful in their day; it was quite literally one of the most beautiful weddings.
As the night came to a close, I remember feeling so grateful and ecstatic to be a part of Vanezza + Kaleb’s day, and to be able to freeze all of their moments in time forever. I truly love what I do and the couples are such a massive part of why I will continue loving wedding photography.
